Today for e 1st time i tink W is not tat bad, as a boss. Is Dimple's bday, and he actually gt a surprise for her! Initially in e late evening, out of sudden, he said sthg like, "want 2 eat ice-cream?" Oh e ice-cream is juz in front of us, v nice but q ex.. Everyday wrking there face e ice-cream drooling.
And my reply was, "is it ur treat 1st?" Haha he said, "ya go n buy lor"
I tink i'm too stunned by him, tis stingy W actually wanna treat ice-cream leh. But when he said yes i still hesitate. I tink i juz couldnt believe my ears. But dimple said she dun wan, so in e end none of us went 2 buy. And i was tinking in my heart, hmph he was juz trying 2 humour us again.
Den aft tat he went out 2 buy some stuff.. He came back wif some bags of stuff frm a supermkt. And i said to him, "wah u buy us presents!" Haha.. i tink smtimes i really too daring in shooting him 2 make him feel paiseh. I dunno y.. smtimes i'll purposely say things wif e intention of highlighting hw stingy he is.
And so, he replied, "i gt mineral water, u want? Gif u a big bottle." Den when we were doing closing.. he actually went out 2 buy a small slice of cake n lighted wif a candle 2 surprise Dimple!! And e bags frm e supermkt were actually e plastic cups he bought n a bottle of champagne grape juice. Tats so nice rite.. As in coming frm W.. So rare n unexpected.
When i was on way home, receive a msg frm W which i believe he sms everyone e same msg. "Merry Christmas to u! Thks for e hard wrk!"
My reply 2 him was, " Merry Xmas 2 u too! U'r such a nice boss today. Hahahaha!" (today; catch my meaning??) LOL!
We are all gg 2 eat steamboat which is juz across e street aft our wrk tmr (a/c to W he's gg bring us 2 e one wif nicer steamboat not e one tats advertise on tv), sort of bday celebration for Dimple. He said we'll close at 10pm tmr. We've been closing at 12am past few days, tink tmr we shld b able 2 close early. Yeah finally!
