Yest sthg funny happened 2 my colleague, S. Alrite, perhaps 2 her isnt funny, but 2 me is funny. I was supposed 2 report 2 wrk at 2pm. I was lunching wif my GOOD fren when S called at ard 1.30. She sound so frantically asking if i'm reaching soon. For a moment i tot i rem my shift wrgly n checked wif her again if i'm supposed 2 be there at 2pm. Ya so i was rite. Den she explained tat she's v scared n asked me 2 arrived earlier so tat she can explained 2 me wat happened. My guess was tat perhaps she cant cope wif e crowd or sthg went wrg for a transaction or gt items stolen in e shop. Hence right aft our lunch, we went over 2 e shop.
When i reached, both S n Dimple (Dimple is another colleague) mistook my GOOD fren as my bro. Hahaha! And anyway, S dun wan 2 tell me wat happened coz my GOOD fren is ard. Erm till nw i still find it v wierd lah.. like wat has it gt 2 do wif him n y cant say in his presence. Hence it was till he left den S told me wat happened.
S: "Juz nw smbody ask for my number n i gif him. "
Me: "Woo.. Den y u so scared? Good looking anot? "
S: "Nono... He is an old man. He ask me my name, wat time i start wrk, wat time i'm off etc. "
Me: " Huh?!!! Old man?? Y u gif old man ur number? Die liao lor.. he's gg follow u home n keep harrassing u. Hahahaha!"
S: " I dunno.. i juz tell him everything when he asked. Coz i tot he is a customer. (Faint! I dunno hw come she gt tis idea) Den when he left, i regret giving him my number."
Me: "Nxt time pple ask for ur number, dun gif them. No matter is young, old, man or woman. Juz gif them our company's name card can alrdy. (I sound as if i'm her mother) If not later ur hp bill shoot up den u noe. Or mayb they stalk u, tats even worse. Whahahaha!"
S: "ah really... Den how? Wat shld i do?"
Me: "nthg u can do lor.. luckily 2day u early shift, still v safe for u 2 go home alone."
I tink i scared her 2 her wits.. Coz e whole day she so scared. Dare not go toilet by herself but i wasnt tat free 2 escort her 2 toilet. Anyway i tink is really safe, coz 1stly the toilet is not located at a remoted area, is public area plus broad daylight a lot of passerbys. I told her if gt anything juz scream lah. Hahaha..
Tats yest. I tot its over alrdy. 2day when we r preparing 2 close for e day. Boss asked S 2 leave 1st. I was still doing sthg so still cant leave. S said she's gg wait 4 me. I din noe is bcoz she's scared tat there'll b an old man stalking her so i keep asking her 2 leave 1st coz i'm taking diff mode of transport frm her. In e end, she explained she dare not walked 2 e train station herself coz she scared she might be followed. (Faint faint faint!! If i noe she wld be so scared i wun make those casual remarks) And so i told her she's getting too imaginative n blah blah blah.
I tink i'm v mean 2 luff at pple tis way. If u'r there u'll get e full impact. Really v funny tats y i cant help teasing her initially. When my boss overheard part of S's conversation wif me. He oso keep luffing... But i tink i muz reassure her tat generally spore is still a safe plc, ah pek not so free 2 follow her home everyday lor. They gt better things 2 do. Plus i'm sure she can run faster den ah pek bah.
Beginning 2 like my job a little more. Ya besides e tiring part, i tink tis job do make my time passed v fast. And in a way, do gif me sm sense of satisfaction at times. Hmm i'm tinking of asking for commission frm W. Perhaps tmr.
2day W asked me 2 rec him frens who gt sales backgrd. Anyone interested? Muz b able 2 commit almost everyday till xmas over. Anyway, perhaps u alrdy haf a very bad impression of wrking for W coz of e way i've painted him 2 be such a super stingy person. Ya tats rite, i dun intend 2 change my perception of him.
I juz wanna add tat, if u do get e job, u wld probably b wrking elsewhere. Not at e same location as me. U wun get 2 c W everyday. U will haf ur break outside, not in-store. In comparison, wun b tat tiring as well. Overall better deal den mine. Juz sms or call me if u r interested.
