WRONG ASSUMPTIONS
There r times i'm quite amused by my frens. Juz bcoz i'm studying real estate as my course, they really assume i noe a lot related to RE. Quite sometime ago, an ex-schmate ask me for help on the retail rental rates of a particular shopping mall for a project tats he is doing.
Then today another fren called and ask me for help.
Clar: Did u learn abt valuation in RE?
Me: Yea learnt b4.
Clar: Wow very good!
Me: Wat v good, i gt lousy grades
Clar: Hee u learnt b4 can alrdy lah. My parents planning to sell the hse, help me see hw much is my unit worth. U noe rite??
Me: Errrr... wait wait. I dunno leh. LOL
Clar: Dun like tat lah, i buy u dinner aft tat.
Me: No, not i dun wan help u. Is i dunno hw to value ur unit. Yes i learnt valuation, but i not qualified valuer. Get it anot?
Clar: Cheyyyyyy.. Den u gt lobang anot? Those who will help to value for free. Hehe..
Me: I dun haf such close connection wif any valuers. Mayb in future lor, when i've gt frens in tat line. Hehe..
